I’m so excited that my sample books for Ellowyn’s Kitchen Chaos and the matching activity book have arrived! I need make changes to some pages but I should be able to approve the final bulk printing soon! Here is a video (on Facebook) showing the samples.

Hello! I don't have much to report but since it's been 24 days since my last update, I figured I should check in. The printer and I have had a ton of back and forth because we've had some technical issues that have resulted in color issues. So they haven't, yet, printed or shipped my sample. But we are still working on it to  make everything look perfect before printing. I didn't expect this delay. But I also know that delays are part of the process. So much patience is needed. But we will get there!

Hey all! Ellowyn’s Kitchen Chaos is done and I sent the files to the printer last night! Woo hoo!

The next step is for the printer to send me a sample for my approval. 

They say it takes 2-3 months to get my full order of books printed and delivered to my driveway. This wait is going to be hard!

Hey all!

The book isn’t done, yet, but it’s been sooooo close for a couple of weeks. This part has been painful because I keep thinking, “Okay, my designer just needs to fix this one last thing and it will be done!!” But then one more thing comes up. Then one more. My book designer and I are just trying to make the book the very best it can be. So, I really appreciate your patience as we make all the little tweaks.

Hey all!

Last weekend I received the next version of my book (digitally) from my book designer. She was laying out all the words onto the pages in a cute way. It all looks amazing! 

I got to read the book (on my iPad) to my kids and husband. It was such a sweet milestone. I almost had tears in my eyes. 

I sent the document off to the professional proofreader yesterday and she got her notes back to me today. Such a fast turnaround! My book designer will be working on those minor fixes this week and then the book will be ready to send to the printer!

It’s almost there!!
